Cuban Rebels were extremely important to the time period of
1895. Cuban Rebels were primarily known for
being bossed around by Spanish, beginning a revolt against Spain , and the rebels were seeking help from the United States . Cuban rebels were important to the time period of 1895 in a couple of
ways. One such way Cuban rebels were important to the time period is because
they were known for being under control of the Spanish. Another way Cuban rebels were important is because
they were revolting against Spain. The way that the Cuban rebels compare to Zinn's writings is because they don't say why the United States were turning on the Cubans, and that would be because the US had doubts about the Cubans after they helped them gain independence. The US believed that they would turn out just like the Spanish and try to take the power.
